May I please have your support and contribution for the American Diabetes Assocition (ADA)?

I am a member of Team D, the ADA's program that offers the unique opportunity to experience the world's most beautiful and well-known marathon courses while raising funds to support diabetes research and running the marathon course in honor of someone you love who has diabetes.

I will be running a marathon on March 24, 2002 in Rome, Italy and dedicating this run to my mother - Susan Federbush, who has been living with diabetes for over 15 years.

The monies raised from my run will go towards helping the 16 million Americans, like my mom, who are afflicted with diabtetes.

The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. The mission of the organization is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. To fulfill this mission, the American Diabetes Association funds research, publishes scientific findings, provides information and other services to people with diabetes, their families, health care professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research and for the rights of people with diabetes.

Funds also go towards the creation of educational, exercise, and support programs on National and Local levels and towards improvements in prescription drugs.
